Sass vs. Concierge
We have a concierge in our condo building. Which is pretty handy since roughly 4x a week, I somehow manage to misplace/can’t retrieve from my bag my card to swipe into the door.
However now its gotten to the point where in order to prove that I am not a absent-minded idiot, I feel compelled SHOW them that I can infact, get myself into my own building.
So now every time I come home,...

I am all for freedom of speech and expression and all, so I guess i’ll provide mine: This article is so disappointing in so many ways. This is the exact ‘angry uptight feminist’ type who can’t take a bit of simple light-hearted satire that make women’s rights groups and other feminists seem like a bunch of over-sensitive man haters ready to pounce on insignificant...

People are cute.
This just warmed my heart.

AIRPORT ARRIVAL: don’t know yet, sorry!
CITY OF ORIGIN/DEPARTURE: SYDNEY
Hi!
How are you? Hopefully you are well, wherever you are.
I was just wondering would you be able to give us the room that has the best view of the Harbour and the highest room up as its our 1 year anniversary. :) We are so...

THE ANGELS ARE LANDING! THE ANGELS ARE LANDING!
ok.
I admit it, I have a thing with ‘hype’. I am a marketer’s dream. Basically anything that gets any sort of mass media attention, I get REALLY REALLY excited for. Including (but not limited to): the new Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens, Mini Eggs, 3D Movies, Lobster Subs at Subway, The Super Bowl/Stanley Cup/The World Cup/The...
THE ULTIMATE LIST
So I’ve had a wee bit of free time at work, thanks to the American thanksgiving Holiday. The phones are dead, and inbox is empty.
So I decided to finally finish this game I had started a while ago..to determine my top travel destinations..I just basically set it up pitting similar hotels against each other (either location wise..or ‘experience’ wise…aka. Costa Rica vs...
Girlfriend in a Coma
In an effort to write more on this blog, and in general… before I lose the ability to put together thoughts coherently, I thought it would be good to post reviews of books I’ve read! so you all..my friends/followers/frienemies/enemies can make informed decisions before you go out there and read.
After reading Generation A, JPod, Shampoo Planet, and The Gum Theif I can safely...
Mishaps in the life of Sass
Yesterday was a day of contrasting levels of intellect.
I got praised at work for how well I am doing in my Revenue Analytics role.
Then I went home and was wiping down the stovetop with lysol and a paper towel, while making some tea on the same stove-top.
When said chemically-insfused paper towel got too close to the element it lit on fire rapidly. I yelped numerous times and flung it around...

Merrytimes in the Maritimes.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of venturing out to Canada’s East Coast.
Halifax/The Maritimes has been at the top of my travel “to do” list for over a year now. Firstly, because I have heard amazing things from friends that have gone there. Secondly, because I’ve been feeling remorseful lately, that I’ve spent the last few years traveling all over the world but...
Why I suck when I'm sick.
I’d like to think I rarely get sick, because I am oh so healthy and take care of my body so well. For the most part, that is true. However, a few times a year..when I am least suspecting it..a big fugly cold sneaks up and wrecks havoc on my life. I am pretty much the worst person when sick. I turn into this fussy, complainy, sore, snotty mess of a person. I hate everything and everyone...
